WHAT WE COLLECT
Order and contact information — your name, email address, billing address, and the contents of messages you send us.
Payment information — processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store your full card number.
Documents you upload — the lease or contract you send for review, together with anything written on it. These frequently contain personal information about you and about other people, including addresses, signatures, and sometimes financial details.
Device and usage information — IP address, browser, pages visited, and similar data collected automatically by Shopify and by our analytics, where enabled.
WHY WE USE IT
- To produce and deliver the review you bought (performance of our contract with you).
- To take payment and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
- To answer your questions and provide support (legitimate interests).
- To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
- To send you marketing email, only where you have opted in. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with service providers who need it to do their job for us, under contracts that restrict what they may do with it:
Shopify Inc. — our store, checkout, and order records.
Payment processors — to take and reconcile payments.
Claude AI — artificial-intelligence services used to help read and summarise your document. Content sent to this provider is processed to produce your output and is not used to train their models for other customers.
Email and file-storage providers — to receive your document and send you your report.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a sale of the business.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Your uploaded document and report: 3 days after delivery, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years.
Support emails: two years.
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Residents of California, and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, have rights including access, deletion, correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of the UK and EEA have rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

SECURITY
